The Hilton’s ROK Hotel Kingston intends to make its first-ever Christmas unforgettable. It’s rolled out an impressive list of holiday offers and, as of November 25, it may unveil not one but three Christmas trees on property.
Since opening its doors on July 3 ROK’s sleek architectural design, combined with artfully placed elements that make the venue truly Jamaican, has made it a must-visit. Determined to ensure locals know they’re always welcome, it now has a special deal just for those born on The Rock.
“For Jamaicans it’s important that there is accessibility always,” explained Director of Sales and Marketing Marlene Buckridge.
“We have a local rate that we have going now and you can book that through the end of the year, with the exception of New Year’s Eve because that night we’re expected to be very busy,” she told Jamaica Observer’s LetsTravelCaribbean.com.
Wallet-opening room rates are just the tip of the iceberg as there are also Yuletide-inspired goodies for those who simply want to experience ROK’s culinary delights.
Palate restaurant
“To kick off the season, on November 27 we’re starting with our brunch, which is an unlimited tasting menu that we’re going to offer from 12:00 to 4:00 pm in the Palate restaurant… It’s going to be extra special,” Buckridge promised. “And from 12:00 to 2:00 pm we’ll have live music in Palate. Then on the ROKstone pool deck we’re gonna have some retro music just to end the mood for the afternoon, chill out on the pool deck, so you can continue your amazing lunch experience there.”
Also on offer at Palate for 30 days, starting December 1, is a hard-to-resist Christmas brunch menu. When you’re not making your way through that delectable culinary journey, there’s also a full slate of fun things to do on the ROKstone pool deck.
It’s the venue for an all-white, full moon party on December 8. You may get either a pre-sold $4,500 ticket that covers two drinks or go big and book a cabana. For $25,000 you and three of your closest friends get to share your own private space, a bottle of bubbly, and food platters for four.
The pool deck will also be the perfect spot to watch the fireworks on New Year’s Eve.
“What’s downtown Kingston with all the fireworks and the fanfare without an amazing party on our pool deck overlooking the harbour? And everybody knows that post-COVID these fireworks are gonna be super spectacular! The best place to ring in 2023 will be on our ROKstone pool deck,” assured Buckridge.
