The young Jamaican also worked at the Yacht Club, known as the “Royal Canadian Yacht Club” but it was in 2011 that he started with the Iberostar Jamaica brand. He began as a concierge in the Public Relations department and in 2013, he was promoted to Second Head of the department.
Wright made steady progress professionally. In 2015 he was promoted to the position of Rooms Division Manager, in 2018 he transferred to the Iberostar Grand Bavaro hotel, and in 2021 he was promoted to Deputy Director of the Iberostar Selection Bávaro hotel. He worked there until recently, when he was tapped to fill the position of General Manager of the Iberostar Costa Dorada hotel in Puerto Plata.
