Yaaman Adventure Park is doing its part to build Jamaica by buying local materials and utilising a local engineering company for its park expansion. The company has invested millions in the work being done.

According to General Manager Travoe Brown, the expansion includes a major transformation of the Secret River, now called the Secret Blue Hole, and addition of the Fly High Zipline. He anticipates that the newly added zipline will contribute to the employment rate as it will provide a 35 per cent increase in employment opportunities to residents from the parish and those nearby.

The newly added zipline is said to be the most unique of its kind, with 11 different elements, traversing through seven lines, two suspended platforms, one swing bridge and a “splash pan” at the end. The zipline went live on December 10 and is said to attract thousands of local as well as international guests.

The park offers special rates for Jamaican citizens and special group rates. For the holiday season, Yaaman Adventure Park sees itself as definitely an option for families and friends.

Billed as currently the most diverse attraction in Jamaica, it not only offers a plethora of fun and adventure, through its bird watching and feeding, secret blue hole, cooking, mud buggy and ATV tours, but a rich historic and cultural learning experience through the plantation and Great House tours done by a comedic, but extremely knowledgeable tour guide.

Yaaman Adventure Park is an affiliate company of Dolphin Cove Jamaica Limited whose parent company is The Dolphin Company. CEO of Dolphin Cove Jamaica Limited, Gonzalo Pacheco is convinced that the park’s unique features add value to the destination. In addition to being a venue for fun filled adventure, Yaaman has a unique cultural value as the property sits on an 18th-Century estate. Operators say Yaaman creates unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages while raising awareness about the preservation and care for the environment.

The Dolphin Company was founded in 1994, and offers one-of-a-kind marine mammal experiences, teaching millions of people each year about the importance of these species and caring for the environment. With the operation of 33 parks and habitats in eight countries and three continents — including the Caribbean, United States, Italy, Mexico and Argentina — The Dolphin Company operates under several brands, including Dolphin Discovery, Dolphin Cove, Zoomarine and Marineland.
